Two services are held on most Sundays in different parts of the parish. One will be led by the minister, the other by one of the worship team.
Services at Craignish village hall start with coffee and cake at 9.45am and are followed by a café style church service at 10am. Audio and video presentation are used during worship in a relaxed atmosphere.
Services at the Kilchattan church building on the Isle of Luing begin at 11.30am. 5 minute Ferry crossings from Cuan Ferry on Isle of Seil begin at 11am. The last boat before lunch from Luing sails at 1pm. Coffee is served before the service, which strives to be intentionally intergenerational. There are a group of musicians who lead worship.
Services at the Kilbrandon church building on the Isle of Seil begin at 11.30am. We have a talented group of musicians leading our music in worship. Coffee is served before the service and all are welcome.
Services at the Kilmelford church building begin at 12noon. This is a more traditional style of worship. There is an excellent and enthusiastic organist who plays for worship. Unfortunately, there is no means of providing refreshments at this service, but it is planned to change that when the new annexe is built, with its kitchen.
Messy Church is held quarterly in Seil Island Hall. Messy Church is for all ages, for children, adults, adults without children, for all those who cannot make worship on a Sunday morning and for those who do. Messy Church is Christ Centred, All Age, centres around Creativity, Celebration and Hospitality. You will be very welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Services where we all gather together are also held throughout the year, alternating between the places of worship within the Netherlorn parish. In the summer months, an extra afternoon service will be held once a month.
There are no churches of any other denomination in Netherlorn. St John’s Episcopal Cathedral in Oban holds monthly Eucharist services in the Kilbrandon church building on a Sunday afternoon.
The different places of worship will use different versions of the Bible and hymn books. Worship material used includes Roots, CH4, Mission Praise, Hillsong and Wild Goose to name a few.

Communion
Everyone is welcome to participate in communion. It is a core experience of our faith journey, and you are welcome whatever your age, or your experience, whether you love God a little, or want to love God more. You are invited to the table, to share bread and wine, to encounter a living God who loves you and calls you by name. Gluten free bread is used, and non alcoholic juice is offered also.
At present, communion will be held in each place of worship twice a year, or at united services. We recently held an Advent communion service at Kilninver church.
